Forest park with boardwalks over wetlands next to QSNCC.
About Benjakitti Park
Benjakitti Forest Park is a 72-hectare park in Khlong Toei, beside the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and a short walk from Asok. It was expanded in 2022 with wetlands designed to soak up rainwater. It has a large central lake, patches of young forest, and an elevated skywalk that winds over the marsh with city towers all around.
Entry is free. You can walk the 1.6 km skywalk, jog or cycle the lakeside paths (bicycles are available to rent), rent a paddleboat or rowing boat, or bring a picnic, though alcohol is not allowed. A green bridge links it to Lumpini Park. Food vendors gather outside the entrances.
A late-afternoon walk on the skywalk as the sun sets over the skyline is a calm, free date. The railings light up after dark. The park is open daily from 5 am to 9 pm. Midday is hot and quiet, and it gets lively from about 4 pm. Come in the early morning or evening.
