Woodbrook Bangkok

Spot in a shophouse on Song Wat Road, one of the old town's café streets.
About Woodbrook Bangkok
Woodbrook Bangkok is a café on the third floor of Hostel Urby at 1222/1 Song Wat Road, in the old Chinatown riverside quarter. It is tucked away, and you reach it by stairs. It has three zones: a bar with high stools, an air-conditioned loft room with dark wood furniture against bare concrete, and a riverside terrace with beanbags looking over the Chao Phraya. A 2025 refresh gave it more glass and river light.
Drinks run about 140-150 baht. Current Wongnai member picks include the Sky Latte, Sky Black Cocoa, Black Yuzu and Pink Skies. Older favourites include the Brook Mountain milk coffee, and there are cakes, croffles and pastries. Reviewers agree it costs more than most Song Wat cafés. Some find the drinks sweet or milky, but most feel the view makes up for it.
It suits a slow afternoon date: settle on the terrace beanbags with the river in front of you, and stay for the late light, since it is open until 7pm. It pairs well with a walk along Song Wat Road. Try to go on a clear day, because the view is the main draw.
