About PP Baking Studio
PP Baking Studio is a small cake-decorating studio on the 1st floor of Lido Connect in Siam Square, a short walk from BTS Siam. You sit at a turntable with a plain cake, bowls of buttercream, food colouring, piping bags, nozzles and sprinkles, and a staff member guides you.
Most sessions are DIY cake decorating: you mix your own colours, fill piping bags and decorate a vanilla cake, with red velvet or chocolate available for about 100 baht extra. Reviewers list packages at roughly 490 baht for a box cake, 790 to 890 baht for popular sets, 1,290 baht for a pound cake and from 1,300 baht for 3D cakes. Sessions last about an hour or a little more, and you take the cake home.
It is a playful, low-pressure date. You design a cake together, laugh at the piping, then eat it or give it away. Reviewers suggest planning a two or three colour theme and practising any lettering on paper first. Book ahead for weekends and evenings. Reviewers give opening hours of 9:00 to 20:00.
