About Dream World

Dream World is a large theme park on Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, about 45 minutes north of central Bangkok. It spreads over about 63 acres in four zones: Dream World Plaza, Dream Gardens with miniature world wonders, Fantasy Land with a Sleeping Beauty castle, and Adventure Land with the bigger rides. The look is bright and cartoonish, aimed mainly at families but enjoyed by adults too.

One ticket covers over 40 rides, including the Sky Coaster, Tornado, Hurricane, Grand Canyon rafting and go-karts, plus Snow Town, an indoor snow room kept below freezing with jackets and boots provided. Parades and a weekend action show add breaks. Rides-only tickets run about 950 to 1,000 baht, or around 1,250 to 1,350 baht with a buffet lunch; Thai nationals buy at the gate.

It makes a fun, silly all-day date with short queues on weekdays and reasonably priced food. Go Tuesday to Thursday, arrive at the 10 am opening and allow five to seven hours. Snow Town is a nice contrast on a hot day, and November to February is the most comfortable time for walking outdoors.
