About Officine Universelle Buly
Officine Universelle Buly is the Bangkok flagship of the Paris apothecary brand Buly 1803, located inside Central Chidlom department store on Ploenchit Road. It opened as the brand's first flagship store in Thailand, and like its Paris shops it is styled as an old-world pharmacy with wooden cabinets, apothecary jars and hand-lettered labels.
You come here to browse and try water-based perfumes, scented candles, body oils, soaps, balms, combs and gift boxes. Staff can personalise many purchases with hand calligraphy, which is part of the brand's signature. Prices are at the luxury end, so it suits a special gift more than casual shopping.
As a date it is a short, sensory stop: smelling fragrances together, picking a scent for each other and having a name written on the box. Pair it with lunch or coffee in Central Chidlom or nearby Langsuan. Weekday afternoons are quieter for unhurried testing.
