Warehouse 30

Old warehouses turned into shops, galleries and cafés.
About Warehouse 30
Warehouse 30 is a set of 1920s-40s rice warehouses on Charoen Krung 30 in Bang Rak, beside the Portuguese Embassy and a short walk from Si Phraya Pier. Japanese forces used the buildings for storage in the Second World War. Architect Duangrit Bunnag reopened them in 2016 as a creative space. Original wooden floors and industrial shells remain, so it feels raw, airy and a little vintage.
Across about 4,000 square metres there are galleries (333 Gallery, ATTA Gallery, CURU, Alexander Lamont), shops such as Horse Unit vintage, HAY and P.Tendercool, cafes like A Coffee Roaster by Li-bra-ry and Sweet Pista, and an Erb spa. Entry is free, and you pay only for what you buy or eat.
It is a relaxed place to wander, browse and sit over coffee, and it takes one to two hours. It fits well into a Charoen Krung afternoon with street art, Talat Noi and the river. Go on a weekday afternoon, before shops close around 6pm, then head to the riverside for dinner.
