Montagne L'art de la glace

Ice cream shop on Charoen Rat Road.
About Montagne L'art de la glace
Montagne L'art de la glace is a French-style ice cream and dessert shop at 106/1 Charoen Rat Road in Bang Kho Laem, off Rama 3. Chef Poon (Phupan Chunharatsmit) runs it. He won Sweet Chef Thailand, trained at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Thani and studied pastry in France. The name nods to his middle name, Phupan, which means mountain. The shop is small, minimal and calm, with greenery around the outside.
More than 30 rotating gelato and sorbet flavours are on offer, including malt granola, pistachio, yuzu, rum raisin and sake. There are also plated desserts built around ice cream, such as a Black Forest served with dry ice, and whole ice cream cakes that cost around 690-790 baht. Wongnai puts spending at 101-250 baht a person. It won Wongnai Users' Choice awards, including Best of 2025.
This is a quiet, sweet date stop. Sharing a plated dessert or a two-cup set is part of the fun, and the cakes suit a birthday or anniversary. There are only a few seats, so a weekday afternoon or early evening is easier than a weekend peak. Note that it closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
