About Take a Breath café & eatery
Take a Breath is a garden café and restaurant on Bang Chueak Nang, in the Taling Chan area near a golf course on the western edge of Bangkok. The grounds are split into a café zone and a restaurant zone, with garden seating, shaded corners and glass-house rooms. Indoors the spaces are wide, with high ceilings and large windows, and reviewers compare the calm, green setting to a weekend in Khao Yai.
The menu mixes Italian and Thai cooking. Wongnai members point to the truffle scallop pasta, the four-cheese pizza (฿320) and the truffle risotto (฿450), along with seafood spaghetti, green curry with fish balls and a Basque burnt cheesecake. The café side serves cakes, peach tea and hojicha latte. Wongnai puts the café at about ฿251 to ฿500 per person, and a full restaurant meal closer to ฿500 to ฿1,000.
It suits a slow daytime date away from the city center: coffee and cake in the garden, then pasta or pizza in the restaurant. It is open from 7am to 10pm daily, so a late breakfast or an early dinner both work. Midday can be warm in the open-air parts, so late afternoon into evening is a comfortable time to go.
