Salvia

Restaurant at Grand Hyatt Erawan.
About Salvia
Salvia is the Italian restaurant on the M floor of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok on Ratchadamri Road, close to the Erawan Shrine and the Ratchaprasong shopping area. It is a large room of roughly 80 to 150 seats, and Wongnai reviewers say it works for couples as well as groups.
The kitchen cooks home-style Italian food. Wongnai member picks include burrata with tomatoes (฿525), spaghetti vongole (฿551), grilled portobello and the Salvia tiramisu (฿375). Warm focaccia comes free with the meal, and a ฿600 set lunch runs from starter to dessert. Wongnai puts most spending at 501 to 1,000 baht per person, and the restaurant serves wine and cocktails.
For a date, Salvia is a calm hotel lunch or early dinner in central Bangkok, and it is easy to pair with shopping or a visit to the shrine nearby. The set lunch is good value for a hotel restaurant. Note that it closes fairly early, around 20:30 to 21:00.
