IMPACT Speed Park is an electric go-kart track on the lakeside at Muang Thong Thani in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, near the IMPACT exhibition centre. The outdoor circuit has TecPro safety barriers and layouts of up to 907 metres that change monthly. The clubhouse is air-conditioned and has an upstairs viewing balcony looking over the track.

You book a session, get a safety briefing, then race electric karts that Time Out says reach about 60 km/h. There are also petrol and 2DRIVE karts. Screens show your lap times and rankings, and winners can stand on an F1-style podium. Time Out lists sessions at around ฿650 for adults and ฿420 for kids. A café-bar overlooks the water.

It suits a playful, competitive date: race each other, compare lap times, then cool off with a drink by the lake. Weekday sessions start at 14:00. Evenings are cooler for driving outdoors. Call ahead, as one reviewer arrived to find it fully booked.
