Olive House Ladphrao 122 is a new all-day dining restaurant at 16/1 Soi Ladphrao 122 Yaek 4, in the Wang Thonglang area. A Wongnai reviewer said it had been open for less than two months and described a bright, airy room with well-spaced tables that feels like a private beachfront villa.
The menu mixes Western and Thai fusion dishes, such as a grilled plum salad, beef fried rice with century egg, Hokkaido scallop spaghetti aglio olio, beef pithivier and a coconut tiramisu. Wongnai puts the average spend at about 501 to 1,000 baht per person.
It suits a dinner date somewhere pretty without heading into the city centre. The reviewer saw mostly couples and groups of friends in the evening and found every table taken by 7:30pm, so booking ahead is wise. Note that one source says it is closed on Mondays.
